8/24 Class!

  We will be finishing up the class we started on 8/17 at our 8/24 class, unfortunately we tried to accomplish a little too much in the first class, but we'll finish at 10:00 on 8/24 and at 11:00 we'll make these 5 lovely cards then on 8/31 we'll make 1 2-page layout along with 1 or 2 cards.  

  I believe that the information I got from the class was that they wanted layouts with technique so starting in September we will have 3 Tuesdays that we do 1 layout (2 page) and 2 cards for 3 weeks (with techniques) and then the last week of the month we will do something different that it could be a mini book, it could by one of the 7 gypsies boxes, or we could work on the donna downey canvas.  So please e-mail me at ryneadesigns@comcast.net if you plan to attend and what days so that we can have a kit. 

  I will be posting the 8/31 layout early this week we will be using the new Jenni Bowlin Collection which should be arriving at Scrappaccino on Monday!

Second Layout for 8/17 Class

Guess what I got a new sewing machine we will be putting some beautiful stitches on these to pages I love the Blues and Browns from Little Yellow Bike Collection, we will also create some flowers out of muslin, regular /chaulk, glimmer mist.

The 44 in this picture is a ceramic label I found at a shop, so we will duplicate in paper, unless you want to bring something else you have in place of this!

First of two Layout classes for 8/17 10-1

Paper used in this layout is from the Cosmo Cricket Line Joy Ride/Mr Campy, we will be making a screen to hang charms, or other memento's from also using inking and paint techniques, using the new paint from ranger/Jenni Bowlin Collection.

Exciting News!

I am so excited to be able to get this news out to you! As some of u know since the store closed over a year ago (yes it has been that long) I have been wanting to do some classes but have not really had a lot of inspiration to do so! A few weeks ago Dorothy and I went down to Georgia to take a Donna Downey class and I am well let's say it did the trick.

I came back and set up a meeting with Kathy at Scrappaccino (as most of u know there have been some changes there too but I will let Kathy fill u in on that). We have decided to work with each other and try to help each other try to keep the last scrapbook store in our area open for as long as possible. Where I can help is starting August 17 I will be having a class every Tuesday morning at the store and two Saturdays a month.

I will give u more information over the next few days about how to sign up and so on but wanted to get u started thinking about this and pencil in your calendars for Tuesdays 10-1 and the 1st and 3rd Saturdays same time frame. At this time I think the Saturday classes will be a repeat of 2 of the Tuesday classes set up for those that can not come during the work week. This is getting a little long winded so will stop for now but e-mail me at the above address if would like to continue to get this information and I will be setting up a separate yahoo group soon.
